I want to set up an old laptop just to handle mail with a large mailing =
list.=20
The laptop is
NEC Versa 2530 with a Pentium processor and 48 MG RAM and 1.0 GB HD
Can I do this?=20
I need to add a PCMCIA Ethernet card: what should I get?
I have RedHat 8.0 and Mandrake 7.2. Would one or these or some other =
distro be best? (Is there any distro that will recognize the hardware =
properly? I'm not able to start fiddling with ad hocquery.)
I want to do a minimum install--just what I need to run the mail program =
(KMail?). I'm assuming that as I do the install it will give me the =
prompts to make the right choices re this streamlining.
