[KLUG Members] Auto Errata Update / Yum?

Redhat AS 3.0 has "Auto Errata Update" via their web site that will
provide updates automagicly, but it provides little customization/control.  
Is there a better way to do updates on Redhat AS that can be scripted
or customized?

Yum is mentioned via google, but nothing related to AS.  Ideally, I'd
like to have a system that downloads patches, reports the proposed
changes via email, and allows me to bless the install or not.
