Anyone remember the Dvorak keyboard layout? For fun I have been playing
around with learning it, but I am having some technical difficulty.

loadkeys dvorak

works just fine to give me dvorak in the terminal, and

xmodmap /usr/share/where-ever/dvorak.xmodmap

works to get me dvorak in X [I don't seem to see the file here at this
computer]. The only problem is that once I load dvorak, I can't switch
back to other terminals, ctrl+alt+F1,F2,etc doesn't work anymore.

I have to assume this is a fixable problem, but I don't even know where to
start looking for an answer.

Oh, and this was like this under slackware [8.0, and 8.1] and is like this
now under Gentoo [with a recently re-compiled X]
