I would like to know what your subnet mask is. If you have a 30 bit
mask you would have two usable IP addresses. If you have a 29 bit
mask you have 6 available addresses. I would have to take a moment
to do the math to figure out where the boundries for your range are
but I would think that you would get all the way to .150 for
addresses and your broadcast address would be .151 if you are running
a 29 bit mask!

Oh wait. I bet I know what they are doing (I am thinking while I am
typing). I bet you have a 29 bit address and they are using the
topmost number for the address of the router port for your subnet!
That would give you 5 usable addresses for yourself. And that is why
they give you 5 and not 4.

I would love to know if that is the right diagnosis.
