Using SuSE 9.0 Pro on my DSL was a cakewalk. The YaST control panel has
an applet for configuring it. From what I've heard Mandrake 10.0 (or
even 9.2) is similarly easy to set up. Those are the distros I use so
I'm not sure about others. I'm sure most of them are easily capable even
if SBC embarrasses itself by saying Linux is not supported.

Also, there is a certain web page you can go to to set up your account
instead of using the SBC software. I'll have to dig around and find it,
but it's much better than installing their bad software on a Windows
box, setting up the account, and uninstalling it. You can actually do it
all in Linux and all of it without needing the command line. Simplicity
is good.
