I've been spending allot of time with GTK (albeit via C#) and I really
like the widget packing mechanism and the documentation doesn't suck
although one does have to pay attention to the age of the web page one
is looking at.

Some of the widgets like the TreeView take a little getting your head
around, but are very powerful.

If your app is going to run on Linux I think GTK is really the way to go
since integration with GNOME's E-D-S and Beagle are and will be
(respectively) absolute requirements as far as usability foes. And a QT
app with an evolution window laying the background just looks cheesy.
