Nope, that is pretty much right. NSS (***NAME*** Service Switch)
processes identity issues on behalf of glibc (UID 0 is User "root",
Host "jujubeen" is 192.168.12.33, etc...) while PAM handles chat-expect
forms of authentication (you enter username and password, etc...)
