Now now now... Many things belong in console mode, but maybe not "client server
DB apps" if that was the only context.

I'll keep grep as a console app thank you very much! ;-)

Otherwise it would appear to me that a VB developer would best switch to Kylix.
It using a mid-level language, has DB back end support, etc... Gee, use Delphi
in the first place and the port would not have been so hard. As a general word
of advise, pick products that do not lock you to a specific platform or
vendor... M$ offered such WHEN??? NOT!!!!!!
