[KLUG Members] Dual Core systems and Linux

I installed a 64-bit Ubuntu on my Athlon 64 system.  In spite of the
(rather surprising, as in "woah!") performance increase, I went back to
Slackware.  Ubuntu was nice, but I quickly became annoyed with the
differences...  YMMV.
