i don't have any advice to give you but i'm totally interested in the performance of the thing when
you get it built. keep us posted.

i just got into a big argument with my brother-in-law who works for intel. we were having a debate
on the merits of amd and intel processors. i told him that i had been an intel fan for like 20 years
and only in the last 2-3 years have been really turned on by amd. as a matter a fact, i don't see
myself buying anything intel for a long time. nothing against intel, i just feel that amd is finally
stepping up to the plate. i have a few amd systems here at work and at home. the performance is
either just as good or faster in some cases. i am very pleased with my amd stuff. anyway, back to my
brother-in-law. they must brainwash those purdue/intel guys because he got furious with me that i
would even use anything by amd. he claims that they are soooo inferior. maybe so, i just haven't
seen it though...
