[KLUG Members] can't open display for remote X app

The reason why a Suse 9.3 X server won't allow remote X access is that
its turned off by default. Turn it on as described below by altering the
setting for DISPLAYMANAGER_XSERVER_TCP_PORT_6000_OPEN and then you
probably have to at least log in again and maybe reboot. This allows the
X server to listen for network connections from other machines, and it
is ONLY for Suse.

The only RHE that I have run is RHE3 and it does not have this issue,
but its pretty darn old. I assume that your RHE is 4. Is this true? Does
it use an xorg xserver or an xfree86 x server? One way to tell is the
run the command "ls -l /etc/X11/X". This file is a symbolic link to the
X server that you are using, and it should be something like
"../../usr/X11R6/bin/XFree86*" or "../../usr/X11R6/bin/Xorg*".
