I have a Toshiba Centrino (Satellite Pro M15-S405) and the wireless is
supported as of SuSE 9.2.  (SuSE 9.1 and before had to use ndiswrapper)

Speedstep also works (slowing clock speed to save battery).

Suspend works (mostly), as long as you don't use the Nvidia binary X
driver.

I've heard that the newer Centrino wireless (802.11g) cards aren't
supported natively in Linux yet (YMMV), but the 801.11b works fine
on a newer distro.  At least mine does ...
