[KLUG Members] Getting our Compaq laptop on wireless

On another thread, Bruce Smith said he had used an "ndiswrapper" to get
his laptop to work on wireless.  We have a Compaq 64 bit that won't work
on wireless with either Suse 9.1 or 9.2.  Would this be a good thing for
us to try to solve this problem?  We seem to have most other hardware
issues resolved.
This ndis thing was suggested as a fix from the Suselinux E list/serv
when I posed the question out there.
The wireless works on Windows, (dual boot) so we know it works.
Bruce, is this a bear to install?
