SuSE seems to have upgraded the library from version 2 to 3.
Try this, mine has version 3:

 cd /usr/lib
 ll libpng*

You could try a couple things to get it working.

1)  Install version 2 of libpng from SuSE 9.1 on your 9.2.
It might install OK, or it may conflict.

2)  Cheat and create a link from version 3 to version 2.  i.e.

 cd /usr/lib
 ln -s libpng.so.3 libpng.so.2
