Under Format/Paragraph/LineSpacing there's a "leading" option. I had
tried it before but gave up on it since it did not have any negative
values and I wanted to _reduce_ the leading. But this morning it struck
me that maybe it doesn't change the defaults for single or double space
but _replaces_ them. Duh! Anyway if I select the entire doc and then
select "Leading" andset it to 0.12", it seems to come close to what Word
does. I don't have the Word doc to compare the results with--will have
to do that next time I'm back in Window. It may require a bit more or a
bit less; it would be ideal if one could get them exact.
Maybe OO.o Writer 2.0 is better on this?
PS--is 2.0 beta stable enough to safely switch to?
