There is a setting, if you go through the menus to Format > Paragraph,
and select the Indents & Spacing tab (leftmost; probably selected
already). Line Spacing, near the bottom, offers a number of options,
including "leading". I'm not sure if it's exactly what you want, though.
You might try "fixed" instead, and set it to 1/n", where n is the number
of lines per inch (or whatever unit of measure you're using).

I was also going to suggest defining a custom named style, and maybe OOo
would take the hint, but after rereading your request, I don't think
that's really what you were asking for. Might be worth trying, though,
if my main suggestion doesn't work.
