[KLUG Members] Meeting 2005-06-21 - Inkscape

Inkscape is an open source vector drawing tool with capabilities similar
to Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, and CorelDraw that uses the
W3C standard scalable vector graphics format (SVG). This will be a
largely non-technical, user friendly demonstration of Inkscape's
abilities and a tutorial on using several key features of the
application. 

Our presenter:

Kevin Wixson is a member of the documentation team for Inkscape,
presently in charge of creating the working version of the User Manual.
Kevin has degrees in Graphic Design and Web Design from the Center for
New Media at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and now runs his own
design company. www.revolvingdesign.com

meaning that you can participate in the process of making formal
