Does Novell's Linux offerings yet support a Linux box as the host?  Or
does this only work on a NetWare kernel?

Of course, every good vendor should do everything they can to make using
Windows as expensive as possible.

Don't forget IBM, they have some new SATA based SAN solutions that are
nice.  And CoRAID is now making ATAoE storage devices that are very
interesting.
