[KLUG Members] samba and permission

Hello,

I have mounted remote windows share on /mnt/share. Now I want to make
user test to have read and write access to this share.Presently only
root user has read and write access. Even chmod -R 777 /mnt/share is
not working. Do I need to change the group of user by usermod -G root
test?
