Yes, NVidia supplies a binary driver for Linux with 3D support.
There is also a OSS driver in x.org with normal 2D support.

I've had very good luck with both drivers on various Linux PC's.

Plus many NVidia cards come with a S-video and/or a composite video
output port that also works great in Linux with the binary driver.

I will only buy video cards with a NVidia chipset these days.
