As far as the error.. I have a couple of sticks of DDR400 lying around at
the moment (dead motherboard) that I would be more than happy let you borrow
for trouble shooting purposes.. I don't have any recent experience with
Intel systems as I have been using AMD for the past 8 years.. This will
atleast allow you to rule out the DDR2 issue.. I also have an Nvidia 7800GT
sitting around that I know worked in SUSE 10 to make sure it is not a video
card issue as well.
