Yes, I did a 'sudo su' and then ran the command to avoid typing my root
password, because the gnome-system-monitor when launched from the gnome
menu askes for root privelidges of course.  Is this a benign error?  Or
do I have some setting up to do of authentication that was never tended
to as a post install task?
