Actually, there is no need to "choose". This is not a league, where people
root for one team or another to win. Rather we all offer users at different
levels a variety of services and opportunities. I support several Linux groups,
and I don't see why one more ought to change that attitude any.
Events that lie ahead for each of us will determine, for each person, which
of the groups in the area are best, and for what purpose. I have gone to
meetings of several Linux groups, and I don't feel any conflict with my sup-
port of KLUG. Similarly, there is no reason to expect that I would not be
accorded every courtesy when attending MOSG or other group meetings. Groups,
like distros, may be better for one thing than another, and that may change
over time.
Perhaps it is best to look forward, to the future, and leave the other stuff
in the past. This way, we may all win, by help the emerging community, maybe
in different ways. I believe that's what we all really want, in any case.
