[KLUG Members] SuSE 10: SYSLOGD_PARAMS

Have you tried support.novell.com yet?  Their knowledgebase has a decent search
engine.  I'm not sure if you're running OpenSuSE, SLES, Pro, retail,
desktop....or I'd offer to search it for you.  I'm still a newbie but have
found the Novell knowledgebase to be my best bet so far.

OK, I give up... how do I enable SuSE 10 to allow incoming remote
syslog entries?  (The SuSE box does not have the firewall
installed.)

I've tried setting SYSLOGD_PARAMS to "-r" and
"-r -s my.remote.system"

(Goggle has returned a gazillion hits, but I'm not having much
luck.)
