[KLUG Members] weird ssh behavior...

i have been having a problem with ssh ever since i put suse 10.1 on my home system. from my windows 
xp machine at work i can log into my suse 10.1 server at home via ssh...EXCEPT...when i "ls" to see 
the directory contents, i see 3-4 things listed in putty and then it hangs at the command line. i 
have about 20 folders and files in my /home directory.

why could this be happening? since i have dsl i use dyndns.org as my dns. i have also tried winscp 
and i get so far as logging in and it hangs at "Reading Remote Directory". it's almost as if i do 
not have permission to see my /home/user contents or something.
