[KLUG Members] What do you call "programmers" presents they leave behind in the code?

This is a question of "term" or nomenclature.

It is customary for programmers to leave behind their personal "signature" or 
some kind of notes in the comments of their source code -- similar to the 
construction worker writing "Earl Was Here" on a subfloor or 2x4.

If you know of an 'official' or proper term for that type of activity, would 
you please let me know.  Keep in mind that I am not looking for the term that 
would be used for hiding 'special functionality' in the compiled bits.
