Has anyone installed a printer like the HP Color LaserJet 3600n on RHEL?

Trying to get it to work on RHEL 4 WS and following these instructions:

http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/manual/distros/redhatenterprise.html

Completed through step 6 without too much trouble. In step 7 A, however I
cannot execute the recommended command. I neglected to write down the error,
but this step didn't seem important and so, forged ahead. Step 7 C  b.
returned an error that "-a" isn't a valid option, so I omitted it and went
forward.

Step 8 is where the real trouble starts, I think. Issuing the "hp-check"
command returns a lot of information about the status of the printing
system, and has 9 errors. Can you help me with procedures to try to resolve
them?
