[KLUG Members] printing .prn

I have gotten used to saving a printable version of a web page to file.
Firefox saves them as .ps and KGhostView opens and prints them nicely.

Today I saved a printable file at the library and it was saved as a .prn
by IE. I mailed it to myself at home. But how do I open it? KGhostView
and Evince Document viewer don't want to open it. Evolution says it's a
plain text file, but my text editors don't handle it. 

So how do I open it to print it?

I've tried from the command line:
[root at sonyc ~]# lpr -P
HL-1440 /home/eric/Desktop/FreshmanSeminar/Scotts_MakeEmplHealthy.prn

and numerous permutations, most notably

[root at sonyc ~]# lpr -P
usb:/dev/usb/lp0 /home/eric/Desktop/FreshmanSeminar/Scotts_MakeEmplHealthy.prn
