[KLUG Members] Sync-able portable.

I'm looking at getting a portable device soon and would appreciate any input 
from the list.

I don't want a Palm device as my personal experience amongst the Palms my 
users at work have had is that they don't survive long and getting warranty 
support is a bear.

At work I'm being pointed at a Dell Axim, but I want to be able to sync with 
Kontact on linux.  I'm not entirely opposed to switching to evolution though 
as long as syncing contacts, calendar, to-do notes and certain documents is 
reliable.  Email syncing just isn't a concern.

I don't care what it runs, Windoze, Linux, whatever as long as it doesn't run 
amuck and syncs with a decent linux PIM.

Any suggestions?  

I've had a Zaurus SL-5000 for a few years, but could never get it to work to 
my satisfaction.  So it sat on my desk and languished.
