------------------------------
*2007-09-25 - GnuCash*
Gnucash is a free (as in beer and speech) personal and small business
finance application for GNU/Linux, BSD, Windows, OSX, and Solaris. It is
capable of tracking simple and complex financial information in multiple
currencies by using standard double-entry accounting practices. GnuCash can
track and produce reports on income, expenses, assets, liabilities, loans,
as well as stocks and mutual funds. Some of its more nifty features include
scheduled transactions, split transactions, budgeting, updating online stock
and mutual fund quotes, and Quicken import functionality. This presentation
will focus on the basics of using this open source option with an eye toward
personal finance.

Note: We have three meeting dates for October open for presentations, Oct
16, 23 and 30.
Improve your speaking and presentation skills as well as improve fellow
members knowledge of Linux.
Volunteer positions available. Learn new skills as volunteer!
