Slashdot has linked to this, as have a couple of other news site.  I found 
it interesting.

The concept of liberal democracy more-or-less successfully 
restrained the infringement upon civil liberties and free speech by 
government officials.  So what is a Republican to do?  Intellectual 
property!  Corporations, in order to remain profitable or viable need 
to have their trademarks, ideas, etc... protected from the great mass or 
law-breakers.

Enter the DMCA (Digtial Millenium Copyright Act).  Now used by the Church 
of Scientology to have sites critical of their organization removed from 
the primary search engines of the Internet on the basis that these sites 
are infringing on their trademarked name. (See above link).

Yes, it is a clear infringement of free speech.  (And speech against a 
truly dreadful organization, at least IMHO).  But it is not an 
infringement by direct governmental power,  so your legal recourse is..... 
just about zilch, unless you've got piles of money

And you thought software licensing was bad,  this is VERY bad.
