[KLUG Members] more on cd ripping....

When I try to use grip, as soon as i hit the rip or
rip + encode buttons I hear the cd spin up and then
the grip program simply disappears.  No explaination
or anything.  I have tryed several encoders.  

I have also found another program called ripperX.  The
program has a really nice interface and I can get it
to rip down to a wav file.  I can also get it to
encode an ogg file but it keeps giving me a 0 bite
file when I use Lame for mp3 files.

any ideas??
