I bought a Radeon VE card this weekend.  I rushed home to rip off the cover
of the new machine I am building and install the card.  I cranked up the box
with a Freshly downloaded Mandrake 8.1 install cd.  The install appeared to
finish ok.  I took the defaults when it came to installing XFree86.  When it
was time to reboot after the install, I anxiously waited to see the new
desktop.  The only thing I saw was a black screen with a mouse pointer.  Any
suggestions?
