   AMD will only officially support Athalon MP processors on an MP board.

   You missed my point. I'll deploy a AMD system here in the office BEFORE
an Intel ANY day of the week. I've had VERY good luck with AMD's. My
origional point (maybe not clearly stated enough) was I'll run an
"non-sponsored" setup at home but the office get only "Official" setups.

   All of my Linux boxes are running AMD's and not one problem with any of
them (that I haven't created myself <sigh>).

    Always a good idea for industrial strength! <G>. I haven't made the move
to SCSI yet so I'm still chained if you will <G>
