Did you get any floppy disks with this PC?  You can get a
disk image from the IBM support files that will boot this
machine to your BIOS settings if you do not have one.  I
believe that you will want this disk if you did not get
one with the used machine.  Look for the Netfinity 3600
Setup Disk in the IBM support download files.

Does this PC have a CD-ROM drive?  If it does, you might be
able to boot right from the BS-Ware CD and start your Red
Hat v8.0 install by telling the BIOS to boot from the CD
instead of the hard drive.  It should allow you to set the
boot sequence to floppy, hard drive, or CD!  

If your hard drive IS toasted... you can get replacement
drives from many sources.  Let me know if you need help
finding a replacement.  I know of several good sources for
them, even if they are the 'hot swappable' ones that Adam
mentions.
