[KLUG Members] New to os with boot up question...

This is a pretty common issue here.

You just need to run a program called Xconfigurator as root.

Just login at the prompt and type Xconfigurator and follow the prompts.  It asks
you questions about your video card and monitor and stuff.  Then you can test
and see if it works.
