[KLUG Members] RH7.2 and abnormal termination during install

I'll third the "Bob is screwed" opinion :)

I spent last night banging my head on the desk. Then thought this is
getting me closer to a headache and still linuxless. So being stubborn,
I ran the western digital diagnostics on the drive. It said error 458
which has a "new hard drive is in your future" solution path. For the
hell of it I low level formatted the drive. Wrote zeros to it. No
error. Ran the extended check and again no error.

I'm trying the install again just for the insanity of it. So far no
problems. The system fully installed.

Not sure if some error occured that screwed the drive or if it will be
leaving me shortly, but its refreshing to see the login in prompt.

If I do have to replace the drive I might upgrade from the K2 333 to
a faster processor, any recommendations on linux compatible MB's? I
usually go with ASUS.

Thanks for all of the responces.
