[KLUG Members] FTP Server Problems/Questions

Is the problem you can't connect to the server or you can't log in?

To verify that the server is running you can portscan the system, or telnet to
port 21 on the system.

It might also help to send the /etc/xinetd.d/wu-ftp  config file for us to check
out.

Any user who has access to the system (except root, I believe) should be able to
log into the server by default.  If you want anonymous users to log in you'll
need to enable anonymous ftp.
