   I definitely recommend using Qmail for the MTA. Mine is rock solid and
haven't had any problems with it yet.

   As for IMP, I know Adam is running it with success, but if they need web
based email, I'd suggest SquirrelMail. I know Bruce was playing with it and
I have it deployed here for my users if they want / need it. It's not the
fastest thing on the planet (then what is when your chewing 400+ messages a
day) but it's reliable and pretty simple to use.
