Not that I could tell. I tried text mode first as well and failed.
Then I tried the gui and saw that it allowed the lvs during the install
and then tried and failed with lvs on the text install again.

If you did, then so did I.

I had an issue with my usb M$ mouse the first time I tried. I let it
stay as a generic usb mouse and about half way, during the network
settings. I could click on the box to enter values, but not get to
enter text. So I started again letting it know that it was an M$ mouse
with no issues.

I left unpartitioned space just so that I could learn to add this space
to /home. WOW!!! What an incredibly powerful capability. Add size to a
partition. What an intelligent concept. Now if I could only get this
on my production servers.
