Also doesn't hurt to "rm -fR /tmp/orbit-*" after the slays to clean out
the Bonobo temporary files for all the users.  That should give you a
pretty clean slate.

I don't know if the "rm -fR /tmp/orbit-*" things still actually helps as
all the dangling temp file issues were fixed in gconf-2,  but it can't
hurt.  Don't do it with users logged into GNOME.
