You might be a little tight on memory.  If you run an old version of
Windows in VMware (Win9x), and only give it 64MB or 96MB, then you might
be OK, assuming you don't use a lot of memory in Linux.

The Athlon should be fast enough.

But you're NOT running both Redhat & Mandrake AT THE SAME TIME.

With VMware, you're running Linux and Windows together, and both need
their own chuck of memory.

You actually have to tell VMware how much of your memory you're going to
give to the guest OS (Windows).
