couldn't you do the same with user directories? for example, i have an ftp server for myself that i
use to copy files back and forth from work. for security i have set up a single user/password locked
a single directory. i can navigate anywhere within that directory but i cannot get out of it. secure
in my eyes. i use "vsftpd". i also use ssh if i want to access anywhere on the server.
