Did you install the Inkscape RPM that comes on the SuSE 9.2 CD/DVD, 
or did you download a different RPM from somewhere and install that?

(I'm telling you that Inkscape comes with SuSE 9.2 & 9.3, in case 
you're getting it elsewhere :)
