I use Knode.. it seems to work on most every newsgroup and on most file
types that are popular currently. It has been awhile since I have used
evolution so I don't remember if that works or not. I believe Thunderbird
may work too but I have not tried that either.

I think I need a "news client."  The Charter.com page mentions Outlook
Express as such a client. [ :-( ] . Also Agent, Newsbin, Xnews.  
--Does Evolution work as a client? If so how? Or (I guess this is what
my original question comes to), is there some other program in Linux
that does this?
--Or is it just as easy (or easier) to use Google?
