I've been using rsync to back up my Linux partition. I'm wondering if it would work on the Windows NTFS partition? EG: rsync -avz '/mnt/windows/Documents and Settings/ [etc]' /mnt/MAXext3 Or would it work better to /mnt/MaxtorFAT ? (FAT32 partition) Would both of these lose all the permissions type info? EB
