    That is a thought, but somewhat unlikely. The machine just went to 
IBM's repair depot to have the keyboard replaced. According to their 
paperwork it was extensively tested while there. I don't have any 
experience with windows on this machine because it was bought with the 
express purpose in mind of loading Linux.
